What should I do if the washing machine does not want to open the door after washing? It only beeps and displays that it's finished, but there is a lock symbol on the screen and also a key symbol. What could be the problem? It has never done this before and even though I have tried unplugging and plugging it back in, it only displays this no matter what I press. The washing program has finished and it still doesn't open the door. What should I do?

The flashing lock sign on the Siemens iQ500 WM14T5G1 washing machine could be due to the following reasons: 1. The door is not closed or locked properly. Make sure to securely close the door and check for any obstructions preventing it from locking. 2. The water level is too high. If the water level exceeds the maximum allowed, the machine will not start the washing cycle. Check if the water supply is turned on and if there are any issues with the water inlet valve. 3. The temperature is too high. If the internal temperature of the machine is too high, it will not start. Wait for the temperature to drop before attempting to start the washing cycle. 4. The spin speed is too high. If the drum is still spinning or if the spin speed is set too high, the machine will not start. Wait for the drum to come to a complete stop before starting the washing cycle. 5. The childproof lock is activated. If the childproof lock is activated, the machine will not start. Deactivate the childproof lock by following the instructions.
